Apologize for getting this done for this forum so so late...

    Exciting times happened last year!
Getting new house, plus wedding all comes together...its really hectic month and followed by EOY celebration, NY celebration, CNY celebration, Valentine's Day and Chap Goh Meh is coming soon....if i dont get this up now, it'll probably in bin list for rest of the year.

First of all i want to construct a patio besides my house, before i forget...my house is a semi-d house, measuring at 35x80 feet. There is a sliding door at the center half of the house, i like this design because it lets the natural light comes in, when you open the sliding door, the cool breeze will flow inside and ventilates the air inside the house.

    What is patio?
From Wiki = It is an outdoor space generally used for dining or recreation that often adjoins a residence and is typically paved.
But if you search the 'patio' word in google image search, you'll see it is quite close as below.

This is the first 3 days of construction, it started with the concrete cement as the flooring. And then the 2 pillars of wood supporting the roof.

Above shows the design of the patio ceiling, which is very very good in my opinion. It is all built using wood, some contractors uses wood to build it too...but end of they day, they covered it up because of the horrible design. But mine is just perfect for showcase!

Well, end of first week, ~7 days. Its completed!!
The photo below is not sharp as it was taken late evening.

I'll try to talk about cost analysis in coming thread. Stay tune!

Include a space for cooking, dining and casual seating for your family and friends; you can also add a water feature and a fire pit for ambiance. Set aside space for quiet reflection and your garden patio becomes a multifunctional outdoor room for fun and relaxation.
